UWS Southwest Adds Williamson County FC

Seven teams now comprise the 2021 lineup

METUCHEN, NJ – More expansion has come to the Southwest Conference of United Women’s Soccer (UWS) with the addition of Williamson County FC to the 2021 lineup. WilCo FC is based out of the northern Austin & Williamson County area and will serve as a member of the FC Austin Elite Affiliate Partnership Program.

The new organization joins Bat Country FC (Austin, TX), CTX Hornets (Buda, TX), FC Austin Elite, Dallas International FC, San Antonio Athenians and Side FC 92 (Tulsa, OK) in the UWS Southwest.

“We are excited to accept WilCo into United Women’s Soccer. The Texas region is a hotbed for soccer and the North Austin area is poised for an exciting summer of competition,” said League Commissioner Joe Ferrara. 

“We are excited to be joining UWS,” said WilCo FC Director of Soccer Operations Bill Bittick. “The level of competition is second to none and we look forward to seeing our players compete with the best in the Southwest.”
