South-Central New York Expansion

Metuchen, NJ – United Women’s Soccer is excited to announce the addition of South-Central, New York-based club, BC United Soccer Association. The newly-launched women’s team is set to begin play in the UWS East Conference in 2023.

“We are excited to add BC United to the East Conference,” said League Commissioner Joe Ferrara. “The organization has a long and storied existence as a club with a great impact on the community. BC United will be a strong addition to UWS.”

BC United Soccer Association was established over 25 years ago in Endicott, NY composed of players from Broome County and the surrounding area. In 2017, BC United SA added an expansion program, BC United Premier Soccer, allowing players from a vast area within NY and PA to come together to play soccer at the highest levels. As a natural next step, BC United will be fielding a women’s team to compete in the national pro-am league.

BC United’s vision is to continually evolve and grow within the world’s greatest game of soccer in a challenging, dynamic, and fostering environment.  They seek to remain on the cutting edge of today’s game in providing their membership with opportunities to maximize the ability to realize their playing potential.

“We are honored to join such an established and accomplished Women’s Pro-Am league,” said Director or Coaching, Paul Marco. “Our community has a large group of high-quality female collegiate players excited for this extraordinary opportunity. The quality of soccer the league provides will further them in their future endeavors.  Our club continues to grow soccer and our community’s love for this great sport. This level of play in our hometown will only help us in continuing our mission.”

The women’s program will be spearheaded by Director of Coaching, Paul Marco (Binghamton University Men’s Soccer Head Coach), Club Administer Jen Blackman, former professional Chris Riley (Pittsburgh Riverhounds), and Habi Darling (Binghamton University Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach).

BC United’s home venue will be Binghamton University Stadium Turf (4400 Vestal Parkway, East Vestal, NY 13850). For more information on BC United, visit their official website and follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
