United Women’s Soccer will begin its season on Saturday, May 8, when Midwest United hosts Lansing United. Two more UWS Midwest Conference fixtures are set to follow on May 9. Additionally, UWS League Two will get underway on May 8, as action begins in the Great Lakes Conference between Grand Haven Admirals and Corktown AFC II.
Arkansas Wolves and Midwest Panthers are the newest members of UWS League Two, and both clubs will begin play in newly formed conferences. Arkansas Wolves, based in Little Rock, will play in the Central Conference, while Midwest Panthers, based in Saint Charles, Illinois, are set to join the Midwest Conference.
United Women’s Soccer will welcome two additional teams to UWS League Two ahead of the 2021 season as part of further expansion in that league. Paisley Athletic FC, of Kearny, NJ, will join the Northeast Conference, while FC Topeka Wings, located in Topeka, Kan., will play in the Central Conference.
Two more teams have joined the Summer 2021 lineup in United Women’s Soccer (UWS) League Two. The inaugural season of the new developmental pathway for players in the U20-U23 age group continues its rapid growth with further additions to the New England and Mid-Atlantic Conferences, respectively. UWS League Two is under the umbrella of the national pro-am league and also serves as the official league for UWS reserve teams.
An eleventh team has been added to the New England Conference of United Women’s Soccer (UWS) League Two for the 2021 season. Bayside Football Club will be the first-ever UWS team from the state of Rhode Island. Based out of East Providence, the organization was established in 1997 and has attracted players from across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
