League-wide Challenge for UWS Players

Metuchen, NJ – United Women’s Soccer (UWS) national pro-am league is excited to announce a new trick shot challenge for their member teams. Participating teams will be placed in a bracket where they will compete with an opponent to advance to the the next round, and ultimately the championship. Players will submit their trick shot video to their respective UWS team, and each team will choose which video will compete in the first round and so on. UWS will open the videos up to a vote on social media, and winners will receive prizes every round. Stay tuned as we announce the bracket in the upcoming week. The first trick shot video submission is due on Wednesday, June 10th.

Challenge Rules:

  • Only current UWS players may participate
  • Pick your best trick shot with a soccer ball whether it’s hitting it into a trash bin, goal, etc
  • Record a horizontal/landscape video (hold phone camera sideways)
  • Use raw footage (no editing)
  • Players/Teams will email their video to info@uwssoccer.com & list their name, and UWS team
  • Please Note: The videos submitted by teams can all be of the same player (or a different player each round). You must win the first round in order to advance. A different trick shot video must be submitted each round.

Challenge Schedule:

Voting will take place the day after each submission deadline. Only the winners will advance to next round.

Round #1 – submit video by Wednesday, June 10th

Round #2 – submit video by Wednesday, June 17th

Round #3 – submit video by Wednesday, June 24th

Championship Round – submit video by Wednesday, July 1st
