UWS teams look to strengthen their conference positioning ahead of the National Championship which will take place in late July.

With many teams halfway through their schedules, the playoff picture around UWS is taking shape.

The community of California continues to rally around Zoe Suder, a young soccer player whose journey took an unexpected turn in 2022 – when what initially appeared to be a sports-related injury revealed itself as a battle against cancer.

Week four of the 2023 summer of soccer did not disappoint as teams across North America continued to showcase their talent. 

The 2023 Summer of Soccer is heating up with competitive matches being played throughout the country.

It’s a big weekend in the Summer of Soccer for UWS as many teams look to set the bar for others to catch while others are looking to find a way to stay in the race for playoff contention.

The third week of UWS play brought a host of thrilling matches from narrow victories to dominating performances, as action was seen in the East, Midwest, and West divisions. 

Three midweek matches will take place in UWS Week 4. Canadian-side Calgary Foothills will be traveling to face the Reno Vikings in Nevada. In the East, Connecticut Rush (New Haven) faces Connecticut Sporting in Middletown, CT and New England Mutiny (Ludlow, MA) faces Scorpions SC in South Shore, MA.

Week three of the UWS Summer of Soccer didn’t disappoint as teams started their season on the right foot. Some teams bounced back, while others are still getting acclimated to each other with hopes of getting on track.
