Metuchen, NJ – United Women’s Soccer (UWS) national pro-am league is proud to announce that they teamed up with the leading online college recruitment company, College Fit Finder (CFF). The multi-year exclusive agreement gives high school-aged UWS players a more complete opportunity to showcase themselves to potential collegiate programs using the nation’s most comprehensive online college recruitment platform.
UWS COO Roberto Aguas and CFF Director of Partnerships Geoff Raives have also announced that they plan to use this partnership to launch a new product for post college players in the foreseeable future. More details will be released at a later date.
Roberto Aguas, United Women’s Soccer COO, stated “As we continue to offer value to all of our team’s owners, staff and players, we are excited to bring this best of breed platform for our players to utilize in their college recruitment process. Many of our UWS and specially our UWS 2 teams have a number of very talented players which are still working through their collegiate selection. It has been very valuable to work with Geoff and the staff at CFF as they see the same vision we have in the dedication and support of women in our sport. We look forward to launching the additional exclusive products for all of our post college players in the near future.”
College Fit Finder is the nation’s most comprehensive online college recruitment platform that empowers a player to take ownership of their future by equipping them with tools necessary to find a home at the college level. The system not only provides individuals with branded player profiles, college filtering, messaging, video editing, amongst dozens of other features, to help create a uniform approach for athletics, clubs, and college coaches to find the right fit. Over 100,000 quality student-athletes are currently using CFF to find roster spots at the next level.
“We are very excited to partner with United Women’s Soccer and help streamline the recruiting process for the teams in the league,” said Geoff Raives, CFF Director of Partnerships. “This partnership will allow us to provide more education and necessary information about changes to the process because of the uncertainty of the pandemic. CFF and UWS will also be working on some new things together to help improve the women’s game. For me this is personal because I have a 5-year-old daughter who loves soccer and anything we can do to provide more resources to girl’s and women’s soccer is important for the future of the women’s game. College Fit Finder wants to be a part of leveling the playing field for young female student athletes.”
The pairing aligns with UWS’ mission to partner with clubs, players, and sponsors for the advancement of women’s soccer by operating a pro-am league committed to professional standards in all aspects of operations.
The partnership immediately impacts UWS’ high school standouts, but will soon encompass the league’s current/post collegiate players and international talent. The partnership with CFF will especially flourish in the newly launched UWS League Two, where a number of clubs and UWS member teams’ reserve squads feature younger players aiming to get to the next level.
