UWS’ 2023 began this past weekend with excitement and kicked the season off in the right direction. In 2022 UWS saw an average of over four goals a match and this weekend that total was doubled as match week one produced 8 goals in the first action of the season.

Chicago Mustangs have claimed United Women’s Soccer’s ultimate prize. With a 2-1 victory over Calgary Foothills Sunday at Lusitano Stadium, Chicago Mustangs capped off an undefeated season with a UWS National Championship. 

Two undefeated teams will battle it out Sunday at Lusitano Stadium for United Women’s Soccer’s ultimate prize. Calgary Foothills and Chicago Mustangs each advanced to the UWS National Championship Game with semifinal victories on Saturday. The match kicks off at 2:00 p.m. ET.
